These terms are a contract between you and Podcaas ("Podcaas", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
Last updated 26 July 2026
The service is operated by Podcaas, registered at [Registered address line 1], [Postcode, City], [Country], company number [Company registration number]. You can reach us at support@yaysoftware.com.
Podcaas generates podcast audio and related text from prompts, documents, links and audio notes that you supply, and hosts the resulting episodes. Generation uses third-party AI models; the output is produced automatically.
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly at support@yaysoftware.com if you believe it has been compromised.
Generation consumes credits. Every plan, including the free plan, carries a credit allowance; when your balance reaches zero, generation stops until it is replenished. Free-plan allowances reset monthly and do not accumulate.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Your credit allowance is granted when each invoice is paid. Allowances are use-it-or-lose-it: unused credits do not carry into the next billing period.
Prices are shown in euros and exclude any tax that we are required to add. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
You can cancel at any time from Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By starting generation within that period you ask us to begin the service immediately, and you accept that your right to withdraw is lost once the service has been fully performed. We may pro-rate a refund for credits you have not used.
We do not refund credits consumed by generations that completed, including ones whose output you did not like. Where a generation fails through our fault, we refund the credits it consumed.
You keep all rights in the material you upload and in the episodes generated from it. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service: to store, process, transmit and - where you publish an episode publicly - make it available to listeners.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including any voice recording you use for voice cloning, and that you have the consent of any person whose voice it is.
You must not use Podcaas to:
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, and we may remove content that does.
Generated content is produced by statistical models. It can be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, including where it cites sources. You are responsible for reviewing output before you publish or rely on it. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, original, or fit for any particular purpose.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give notice and you may cancel for a pro-rated refund.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your content; see the Privacy Policy for retention detail. We may terminate for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the product. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of [Country], and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
